Independent Vehicle Inspections in Germany for European Car Dealers

We inspect vehicles on-site in Germany before you arrange payment and transport. Your independent automotive expert in Germany – a master technician who looks at the car for you, documents what is really there and gives you a clear technical recommendation in English.

NWK Automotive inspects vehicles in Germany on behalf of European dealers before purchase and transport, and then provides a technical assessment with English documentation. The inspection takes place at the seller's location and covers VIN verification, documents, body and paint, a diagnostic scan, a cold start and full photo and video documentation.

Who the service is for

Built for professionals buying cars in Germany

You found a car in Germany. It is several hundred kilometres away, the seller is in a hurry, and the only information you have is a listing with twenty photos taken in good light. Sending an employee costs a day and a return flight. Buying blind costs more.

We look at the car for you: on-site, with measuring equipment and diagnostic tools, before you transfer money or book a transporter. You receive a structured English report with photos, videos and a clear technical assessment – and you decide independently what happens next.

Specialisation

Performance & Premium Vehicle Inspections

NWK Automotive has particular experience with German performance, premium and track-oriented vehicles – for example cars from Porsche, BMW M, Mercedes-AMG and Audi RS, as well as modified performance vehicles. This is based on practical experience in motorsport and high-performance aftersales, not on any manufacturer partnership or authorisation.

On these cars the expensive questions are different ones. A set of brake discs, a clutch, a gearbox with history or an undocumented suspension conversion can easily exceed the price of a small used car. We therefore look at additional points:

  • Modifications and how well they are executed
  • Brakes: discs, pads, remaining material, heat damage
  • Suspension: dampers, bushings, conversions, leaks
  • Tyres: age, compound, approvals, wear pattern
  • Maintenance history and documented major work
  • Accident repairs and paint work on high-value panels
  • Diagnostics and plausibility of the electronic data
  • Signs of intensive use, as far as technically traceable
  • Condition of high-cost wear components

We cannot prove whether a car has been driven on track. There are strong indicators – brake and tyre wear, thermal marks, suspension condition, modifications, history – but no method that answers this reliably. We tell you what we see and how we read it.

Sample report, service area and scheduling

01

Sample inspection report

A standardised sample report is currently being prepared. Until it is available, we are happy to walk you through the structure and content of our reports on request.

02

Service area

The main area is western Germany – Neuwied, Koblenz, Bonn, Cologne and the Nürburgring region. Inspections elsewhere in Germany are possible by arrangement.

03

Travel costs

Travel is quoted transparently with the inspection itself. Several vehicles at one location or a booked inspection day reduce the travel share per vehicle.

04

Scheduling and turnaround

Appointments depend on the seller's availability. We tell you realistically when an inspection can take place and when you will receive the report.

05

Meet the inspector

Every inspection is carried out personally by Niklas Kornweibel, a German Automotive Master Technician with a background in motorsport at Manthey-Racing and hypercar aftersales at Aston Martin.

Individual quotation per assignment

Every inspection is individually quoted based on the vehicle, inspection scope, location and reporting requirements. Tailored arrangements are available for dealerships, recurring assignments and multiple-vehicle inspections.

Travel costs, travel time, inspection scope and multiple-vehicle assignments are calculated individually and agreed before you commission the inspection.

Inspections are technical assessments based on the agreed scope and the information available at the time of inspection. Hidden damage, inaccessible components and future defects cannot be ruled out without further investigation. No guarantee of freedom from defects or of future functionality is given; statutory rights remain unaffected.

Yes, this is one of our focus areas. On these cars we additionally assess brakes, suspension, tyres, modifications, documentation and signs of intensive use.

Not with certainty. We can assess brake and tyre wear, thermal marks, suspension condition, modifications and history, which together give a strong picture – but no inspection can prove track use reliably.

It depends on the vehicle, the location and the scope. You receive a transparent quotation before anything is arranged. There are no fixed prices for business assignments, because vehicle, scope, travel and number of vehicles determine the effort.
