Automotive Master Technician with Motorsport and Hypercar Experience
Niklas Kornweibel is a German Automotive Master Technician and the founder of NWK Automotive. His professional background includes performance and motorsport vehicles at Manthey-Racing and hypercar aftersales at Aston Martin. At NWK Automotive, his focus is on pre-purchase vehicle inspections, diagnostics and technical vehicle assessments.
My career moved towards performance vehicles and technically demanding work early on. After completing my apprenticeship at Manthey-Racing, I stayed on as an automotive technician, working mainly with performance and track-focused cars. That work covered maintenance and repair, vehicle modifications, suspension setup and wheel alignment, as well as preparing and supporting cars for track use.
Today I work in Aston Martin Hypercar Aftersales. Diagnostics, maintenance, vehicle setup, technical fault finding and work on highly complex vehicles are part of my daily environment there.
Alongside my career I completed my qualification as a German Automotive Master Technician.
The approach
Many vehicle-related decisions do not immediately require a repair or a parts replacement. What is usually needed first is a clear, technically sound assessment.
That is where NWK Automotive comes in. My main areas of work are:
The objective is not to sell as many additional services as possible. It is to answer the question that matters:
What is the actual technical condition of the vehicle, and what does that mean for the next decision?
Specialisation
Working in motorsport and hypercar environments means dealing with vehicles where maintenance history, modifications, component condition and technical detail can make a significant difference.
That experience is particularly relevant when inspecting performance cars, track-focused vehicles and modified cars – whether that is a Porsche, a BMW M model or a heavily modified everyday car.
NWK Automotive is not limited to sports cars. The same principle applies to any used vehicle: before making a purchase or repair decision, the technical condition should be assessed as objectively and transparently as possible.
Working together
NWK Automotive is deliberately kept personal and straightforward.
When you request a vehicle inspection or a diagnostic service, you deal directly with me. I arrange the appointment, carry out the technical assessment and discuss the findings with you afterwards.
There is no call centre and no handover between multiple inspectors – you have one direct technical contact throughout the process.
The companies mentioned above are part of Niklas Kornweibel’s professional background and are not business partners of NWK Automotive.
